Tampin Pork Satay

I think I've been hearing this for nearly a year since i came to melaka....
so far there's no time or just not in the mood to travel half an hour for pork satay & it's only available after 12am...

yes... it's 12am... there is no typing error.. the shop only starts its business after 12am... & to my surprise... as i arrived yesterday at around 12.15am... the guy selling drinks tells me the fried noodle is not available yet as the lady boss is not there yet.... hmmmm.........
anyway... i only came for the pork satay... so... here it is....
They only serve pork satay, & it's internals... abolutely no other meat selection...
Butthey also have fried noodle... chinese hawker style...
I didn't get to try it as there was only 2 of us.... which 1 with the size of the stomach half of my palm.... so 17 pork satay with 3 internals... that's it lor...



As i arrived... there's oledi 6-7 tables full wif people... but every tables only has drinks on it... so i guess the business is not started yet... then i only saw people at the side of the shop starting up the fire... then the drink seller told me since it's saturday night.... when they bring out the satay... he told me better to go over there to grill the satay myself... as most of the customers are doing that... if not i would have to wait for a very long time.... or people would be waiting there to pack it back home...
so without hesitation... i went to the grill & trying to put my hands on the satay...
but the a lady was standing there & offer to grill it for me... listening to the advise given... i actually took a plate & waited there for the satay.... hahaha

This is the place when i just arrived.... filled with big family with kids & aunties with pyjamas....

Aunty didn't make it burn enough i guess... but the meat is juicy & tender... with a very nice touch of lemon grass flavor... it's simply superb...



Intestines..... just nice consistency... i wonder how they made it so nice....

My first time ever Pork liver satay... didn't thought of it would blend with the satay seasoning so well... lemon grass goes with liver... heh
Foie Gras? haha

Traveling half an hour... paying 50 cents per stick... superb taste.... it was indeed a great trip for food....





Just take the Tampin exit.... & follow road signs of Tampin... It's located in Tampin Town...
A very small town but has everything in it....
The Red Box is the place...
